Endowed Gifts
You can help ensure the future of Dowling Catholic High School by making an endowed gift. A gift to endowment is an investment which will help DCHS continue its mission of developing Leaders for Life, Centered on Christ for generations to come.
Supporting Dowling Catholic's General Endowment or establishing a named Endowed Fund is an opportunity to:
- Provide financial assistance to students who might not otherwise be in the position to attend DCHS
- Honor a family member, beloved teacher or religious
- Share gratitude for a Catholic education
- Celebrate a personal or professional accomplishment

BVM/SJA Endowment
Established in 2022, commemorating the 50th year of the last graduating class of St. Joseph Academy in 1972, this Endowed Fund will support tuition assistance for young women attending Dowling Catholic High School. The Fund will live on in perpetuity and serve as a tribute to the alumnae of Saint Joseph Academy and the BVMs who started SJA in 1884.
STEM Endowment
The STEM Endowment enhances programming for all students in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. STEM education offers a hands-on approach and prepares our students for real world scenarios by developing skills in critical thinking, problem solving, creativity, teamwork, and communication.
Approximately 40% of DCHS students go on to study STEM related fields in college. Enhancements with relevant technology in our classrooms and STEM related Career Academy programming will complement our mission of creating Leaders for Life, Centered on Christ with a goal of guiding every student toward discovering their God-given talents and graduating with the confidence to lead positive change in the world.

Student Activities Endowment
The Student Activities Endowment provides enhancements for existing clubs and groups and opportunities to form new ones.
Timothy E. Sheaff Speech, Debate and Drama Endowment
Established in 2023 in memory of Tim Sheaff, the Timothy E. Sheaff Speech, Debate and Drama Endowment will perpetuate his legacy through funding for props, licensing, theatrical tech equipment, tournament travel, attendance of summer camps and tournament supplies/attire.
