  • Evening of Style

The Evening of Style is a fun filled night to view the latest fashion trends and socialize with friends and fellow parents. This unique event significantly contributes to the fundraising efforts of the Bash Online through table registrations and donated gifts of products and services. Due to COVID, we are unable to host the fashion show but will be implementing a collection party to support the Bash through a gift gathering initiative during Catholic Schools Week. Each grade is encouraged to donate different products, items or gift cards and turn them in to the business office February 1-5. The grade that collects the most items will earn an out of uniform day at school and a Bash Break snack at a later date. Grade specific themes:
Freshmen are asked to donate home and garden items.
Sophomores are asked to donate entertainment items.
Juniors are asked to donate health and beauty items.
Seniors are asked to donate food and beverage items.
Thank you for supporting the Evening of Style with a gift! All items are greatly appreciated. Cash gifts will be used to supplement the physical donations that are received.
If you have questions about gift ideas or need to make arrangements for gift delivery, please contact Carolyn at cburchkirchhoff@dowlingcatholic.org or 515.222.1095.
  • Dowling Days Mass

Please join us for Bishop Dowling Days Mass on March 26, 2020!

This Mass is part of a special weeklong celebration honoring the birthday of our founder, Bishop Dowling, and the history and traditions established more than a century ago.
  • The Bash on Buffalo

The Bash Online will feature a silent and live auction with over 100 items, mystery wine and bottle pull, restaurant row and raffle drawings. Be on the lookout for the new additions to the event featuring The Golden Ticket opportunity and college sweatshirt boutique. For all of the many individuals and businesses that have contributed to make this event possible: we are immensely grateful for your generosity. Thank you!

Proceeds will be used to provide tuition assistance and other support to our Dowling Catholic families in need of our help through these challenging times. Details for how to participate will be emailed, posted on our website, and shared on social media.

We are looking forward to a great event!
  • Golf Outing

Thank you to everyone that participated in the 43rd annual DCHS golf outing! With over 170 players and a record number of sponsors, we are able to support the Coppola Family Endowment with a $40,000 contribution, allowing us to provide tuition assistance to DCHS students who might not be able to afford a Catholic education.

We want to express our gratitude to all of our students, athletes, alumni and friends that volunteered throughout the day to make the event a success. We could not do it without you!

Each summer our Maroon community comes together at Echo Valley Country Club for  a fun day of golf and to raise approximately $40,000 for the Coppola Family Endowment. We look forward to teeing off again in August 2022 for this great cause. For more information or sponsorship opportunities, please contact Carolyn Burch Kirchhoff at
    cburchkirchhoff@dowlingcatholic.org or at 515.222.1095.
  • Grandparents’ Day

The Dowling Catholic Community came together virtually to celebrate our special grandparents and grandfriends in October 2020. A unique video was created to showcase the special bonds between grandchildren and grandparents. In a short speech, Senior Kristin Wenham described the special bond and love she shares with her grandparents. That video can be found here. Alumni Dr. Joe Cordaro '67 shared the length and strength of his DCHS ties as a former student and now as a grandparent. The video, found here, also showcased the talents of our DCHS choir.

We are looking forward to welcoming our special guests back to campus for a traditional Mass October 7, 2021
  • Pancake Breakfast

The Pancake Breakfast is BACK! This year marks the 60th anniversary of the event and we are excited to celebrate this historic milestone with our fellow Maroons. To commemorate the 60th pancake breakfast, tickets are just $60 for a set of 12! The students have been given a lofty goal for pancake ticket sales. When the goal is met, the entire school will win an amazing prize! (Goal and prizes to be revealed when school resumes PLUS grade level prizes will be awarded along the way.)

Proceeds from the breakfast support each and every DCHS student on their journey to become Leaders for Life, Centered on Christ. Current parents, please purchase your tickets through smart tuition. Alumni, friends and other pancake fans, please click here to purchase tickets and be a part of our pancake history. Do you have other friends that enjoy pancakes too? Direct them to this page and when they purchase tickets, your student’s grade will receive credit and get them closer to the goal! We look forward to seeing you on Sunday, October 24 for food, fun and fellowship! Thank you!
